An intensive exposure treatment where individuals are immediately exposed to their most feared stimuli for extended periods until anxiety naturally decreases through habituation.
Example: Treating severe spider phobia by having someone spend hours in a room full of spiders until their anxiety peaks and then naturally subsides without escape.
