Episodic Memory

/episodic-memory/
A type of declarative memory that stores personally experienced events along with their temporal and spatial contexts, allowing individuals to mentally "travel back in time" to re-experience past occurrences. This autobiographical memory system includes details about when, where, and what happened during specific life events.
Example: Remembering your high school graduation ceremony, including where you sat, who spoke, how you felt, and what the weather was like that day.
